Beautiful day in Meredith. I can't believe that it is July 1st. Happy to say that I have been open for 2 hours and have sold 2 paintings. Wouldn't it be great to sell a painting an hour. I am still smiling ear to earover the success of the "Meet the Artist" night held last Thursday. I owe all the success to my great artists. If you haven't had a chance to check out my new gallery, my hours are Wed - Sun., 10 - 5. |

Christine's "Birches in Watercolor" workshop is going on right now. Lots of laughter going on in the workshop area. Full class. Anyone interested in learning pastels? Workshop next Saturday. Go towww.vynnart.comfor details. Finally made my debut in golf last Monday. I should have stayed home. Played in wind, rain, thunder, lightening but I refused to quit because I didn't want to be the whimp. Lost $2.00 to Ed, $5.00 to Dan, three golfballs and the feeling in my fingertips. |

So sorry I haven't written for a while. Blogging can be very demanding. Today I am writing to announce our Grand Opening which will be on Thursday, April 7th. Sales and specials will be going on all day. We will then have an After Hours Party form 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Refreshments and Beverages will be served. If you are in the market for some incredible art work, the Hodecker-George Gallery will be having some great sales during the After Hours Party. |

Another stressful moment at VynnArt. My price gun ran out of tape this morning. Not a big deal for the ordinary person but for me it is major construction. When I first opened the store I was very excited when my price gun arrived in the mail. Three hours later I still could not load the damn thing. Suddenly it became airborn and smashed in a million pieces. I have no idea how that happened (lol). A week later I received a new gun and brought it directly up the street to Gallery 51, where Christine Hodecker-George loaded it in 5 minutes. |

Another cold and windy day in Meredith, New Hampshire. Surprise!!! The workshop area is shaping up. The Track lighting is wired and ready to put up. The tables are due in next week. I have a funny story about the electrician. I made the phone call to my electrician the other day. I call him "Tricky Dicky". So I called his number. When the voice on the other end said, "hello", I responded by saying, "Well hello Tricky Dicky. |

It was great to see people walking around Main Street, Meredith today. I even had several customers venture on down to the store. Thank God. I needed the company. After a slow start to Febraury, Kevin (who runs Hodescker-George Gallery) and I have run out of things to talk about. I'm really glad we decided to have our Grand Opening in April. Hopefully everyone will be in a great mood, look outside, decide to become an artist and buy lots of Art Supplies at VynnArt. |

Today I stayed home and worked on easter rabbits all day. Wish they would multiply like real rabbits do. I'd be done by now. Still plenty of time to enter the BLOG contest. Got some good ones so far. The first sneak preview will be next week. Stay tuned.. |

Damn! It's cold out. I always pick the best days to pump gas. The thing that really ticked me off was the pump that I was at wasn't working and it took me 10 minutes to realize it. Then I had to go to another pump which was located on the opposite side of my tank. So I had to turn around. By the time I did that some "Idiot" managed to get there before me. I turned around again and as I pulled in "Idiot Number Two" did the same thing to me. |

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY We had a great meating the other night at Mame's. First of all, we decided to close the store and Gallery on Monday's and Tuesday's in March and April. Finally a few days off. We will resume to seven days a week in May. We also decided to have an Event a Month. To begin our monthly events we will have our Grand Opening on Thursday, April 7th. Details to follow. Lots of fun planned in the following months. Your ideas and comments are always welcome. |
